Kid on a swing…

There’s an old house on the top of a hill overlooking Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. It was once a great place for a party, but it’s now been ransacked and vandalised. I found this typewriter in the grass outside. View more pics of the house and its surrounds here.

These dudes were hanging around outside a church in Kei Road near Stutterheim in the Eastern Cape. I liked the way they were standing on different levels, and the fact that they were wearing the same stuff, and the way their red shirts contrasted with the blue door pane.

This is a sleeper (that’s what you call those fat planks on train tracks, right?). I liked the lines.
